POET : Param The Poet

‌Hello fellow Poets and word worshipers, I go by the name of Param the poet!!I spent a lot of my time growing up involving myself in the arts. I started out as a Bboy, Street dancer, and dabbled in Fine-Art.

I worked with the BBC as part of the show "The Greatest Dancer" and performed a dance for the Mayor of London and performances for other notable celebrities.

However, in my creative career, I always felt as though something was missing and after a massive accident training dance, I ended up breaking my leg and was no longer fit to perform professionally.

So that's when I started focusing on words and the power of poetry. As of recently, I started performing my poems at London Open micsand found the missing piece of the puzzle I was searching for all along.

The joy I feel performing my poems is simply the purest joy I have felt In my entire creative career with amazing and supportive poets and artists to share it with.

POEM : Her

Oh the colors of rain have changed
And nothing is the same
Monochrome empathy
You're a grey cloud that makes me shiver

You don't want to know if I am okay

You just want to fill the space
I slip as you wrap up my world
Into a slow burn between your fingers
You blow the smoke of me
Ghost of me
I hope you don't roll another one
What happened to that smile
The one summer took
Your freckles Icicles

That's why our last kiss hurt

Your laughter used to send me rolling down hills
But now I am at the bottom with bruises that will never heal
I am a fool that worships dead flowers still thinking they will grow
You're the urn I am trying to bring alive but inside you
It's ashes and ashes and ashes of gaslit dead deception

You tried my heart with vines

That's why it's so hard to leave
How do you kill what once was

How do I see the colors of rain again
