POEM : Dreams In The Ghettos
Dream big young king.
It’s not illegal to dream in the ghetto
Even when everyone’s intentions is coming off as stiletto
It’s not illegal to dream in the ghetto.
Even when you’re entire existence is dulled down to a stereotype
And the cave you’re dwelling in is struggling to provide light
It’s not illegal to dream in the ghetto
The blood in your veins share over a thousand stories.
Lifetimes in which to anyone else would be incomprehensible.
And With every step you take you paint the block with hieroglyphics
Which makes our royalty is accessible.
Show them all it's not illegal to dream in the ghetto
